About Us

Tredway Spine Institute's mission is to provide personalized, excellent quality care for patients with spinal disorders. We have created a practice that we believe in and strive to have the highest ethical values as well as the best surgical outcomes. After reviewing the patient's chief complaint and medical history, we perform a physical exam which focuses on the neurological condition of the patient. We then review the pertinent imaging studies (radiographs, MRIs, CT scans) as well as any neurophysiological tests (EMG) and then determine a course of treatment.

Our providers are dedicated, experienced physicians and advanced nurse practitioners who believe in working with our patients to maintain and improve their health. We work together to serve our patients and focus on conservative management prior to any surgical intervention. Our providers believe in providing comprehensive health care services to our spine patients in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We also believe in educating our patients as we work with them to achieve the best physical state possible.

Dr. Tredway is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons (ABNS) and started the Tredway Spine Institute after 12 years of experience in both academic neurosurgery, as well as in private practice neurosurgery. Laurie Crew is a board-certified nurse practitioner and has been working in the field of neurosurgery for the past seven years. We enjoy taking care of patients together in a combined approach.
